Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
The short version: NoTrace does not collect, store, or transmit your photos, videos, or any personal information. All metadata reading and removal happens entirely on your device. Our App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
What we collect
Nothing personal. NoTrace has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We never see your files. Photos and videos you select are processed on your iPhone and never leave it.
Your media
When you clean a file, NoTrace reads its metadata and writes a new copy with that metadata removed, all locally. The original and cleaned files stay on your device and in your photo library if you choose to save them. We have no servers that receive your media.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Apple processes transactions under Apple's Privacy Policy. Restoring purchases uses Apple's StoreKit and your Apple ID — not any account with us.
App configuration
To occasionally update in-app presentation (such as which plan layout is shown), the app may request a small, static configuration file from our domain. This request contains no identifiers and no personal data — it is an anonymous fetch of a public file, like loading a web page. We do not use it to track you.
Children's privacy
NoTrace is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Material changes will be reflected in an app update.
