What AI tools embed
These tags are designed to persist and identify AI origin. They live in the file's metadata and survive ordinary copying.
Standard EXIF tools ignore them entirely, so an image can look "clean" while still carrying its AI provenance.

Will removing AI metadata always work?
NoTrace removes the embedded C2PA manifest from the file. Note that some platforms detect AI by other means; this removes the embedded tags from your copy.
